Welcome to the Bunker!!
Greetings I'm Pemble (or that's what my wife calls me) and this is my blog, predominately about my primary hobby - Wargaming/Tabletop Gaming/Gaming - whatever the current correct term is for it.

I've been a gamer on and off for over 40 years, starting with wargames with unpainted plastic Airfix and Matchbox figures, using rules from books borrowed from the local library (mainly Donald Featherstone).

Since then I've played a multitude of miniature based tabletop games, CCGs, RPGs, board based wargames and 'Euro' type board games.

I recently took a gamble and retired early and so I'm hoping to be able to spend more time on my hobby (if Mrs. P can stop finding other jobs for me to do) and thought it might be an idea to start a blog to record and track my progress. Most of the blog entries will be about the progress being made but I will also put reviews and battle reports here for any games I play - and as it's a personal blog I may at times post something totally random.

As for the blogs title - well, the Bunker is the name given to my 'mancave' where my 'toys' are stored, games are played and the painting/modelling is (eventually) done.

Hope you find something of interest on your visit!!
