I Did It!!

Having set myself the task of getting a 25mm 18th Century Infantry regiment painted in a bunker week I'm happy to report that I managed it!!!

My photography is probably letting me down but I'm quite happy with the way they turned out.

My next job is to base them and create a couple of flags.

The second regiment has been assembled today but sadly won't progress any further until next week, still at least this unit has the flags at a sensible angle.

I did take a few breaks from painting the 18th Century stuff and used the time to progress a number of other projects - none of which are urgent.

But here they are anyway......

Firstly some Steampunk English Bobbies for 'In Her Majesties Name'; figures by North Star . I've painted these mainly with contrast paints but also with some standard acrylics, the sheen is courtesy the matt varnish I used.

And then I cut out all of the pieces for the sci-fi scenery my daughter had brought me for Christmas, assembled what needed assembly and left the rest. This has now been coated in a MDF sealant and undercoating for some bits has commenced.

And then I thought I'd assemble a couple of small Dark Age buildings from Sarissa as the pieces had started to come away from their sheets. Very basic buildings but I'm sure they'll do the job once fully complete.

These were not assembled in the bathroom as the towel and the toothbrush might suggest but the bathroom items in the picture are hopefully going to give me a thatched roof look for these - check the next blog to see whether this was successful.

And finally I pimped up a second Wild West building, sadly this time I forgot to take the before picture, or a shot of the enhanced exterior.
