Oh my, another short week of bunkering, in fact effectively only a single days work achieved - what a slacker I am.
It was a club night this week and I decided to take the Aliens Board Game along and so my first task of the week was to paint the remaining figures from the set (having already finished Marines and Xenomorphs).
As it turned out they weren't needed as due to a low turn out only a single game was played: Moonstone, no pictures of the game I'm afraid. It is a fun little skirmish game that utilises a diceless combat system and interesting spell mechanic, it amused me enough that when I got home I ordered a few figures (how impulsive of me).
Having finished the figures for Ayton I was without a clear focus as to what to work on next and was working on a number of random things with no obvious goal and so decided to address that.
My next scheduled gaming date post-Ayton is in June with Mr. Burt who is popping up for a mid-week game and so I reached out to him to see what he fancied playing and he chose Ronin. So my hobby focus will now be preparing for that game and so expect to see numerous Japanese themed bits hitting this blog over the next few weeks.
I have already started though.....
All of these were already assembled, just needed some colour adding - the first building may get a little more colour, I haven't decided yet.
Finally this weeks Marvel figure!!
And that's it, numerous real world tasks keeping me out of the Bunker tomorrow and being the Easter weekend I'm committed to spending time with Mrs. P so no hobbying until next Tuesday the earliest.
Thanks for reading - until next time toodle loo!!
Very much looking forward to the Ronin game.........and the pre and post game socialising.
