There has not been a lot of progress to Bunker based projects this week; a day lost writing a pub quiz for the local community pub, a day prepping to run an RPG over the web (only to not use any of the stuff I had spent the day working on), household maintenance and the hot weather not making the Bunker a destination of choice.
Still a few things did get done..
Firstly I finished building and painting a Valkyrie Gunship which I intend to use as a shuttle or similar in Stargrave Scenarios.
Not a bad 'little' kit however the instructions for assembly did not use numbers for the pieces so all had to be worked out by sight.
At this stage I'm not going to anything else to it but I'm sure I'll get round to adding a little more detail one day.
As there is talk of a Stargrave campaign starting in the near future at the local club I decided to add a little more to my sci-fi scenery collection - and opted for these pre-painted pieces made for Infinity.
I've also purchased and have prepped a couple of other boxes of scatter scenery - you may see some of it in this picture of my pending painting tasks..
And sticking with the Stargrave theme I've had a go at assembling and painting some of the plastic crewman you can buy. Here is my attempt at a sniper, grenadier and generic trooper. My only gripe with the plastics is that everyone is right handed and the provision of using the left hand to wield a weapon is practically non-existent.
And finally a Marvel figure - this week it's Crystal, one of the Inhumans. I wasn't sure about the paint scheme initially but once it was fully complete I decided I rather like her (not that my picture will do here justice).
Hopefully next week will be more productive - I think the one challenge I currently have is not having a driver to push any of the different bits to completion e.g. no planned game.
Until next time!!
