Rabbennisten Rise Again

After weeks of silence a second 2023 blog entry already!!

I decided to make the most of a slightly milder start of the week and get some time in the bunker and progress a few things.

Firstly I decided to start on the force needed for the Ayton Colonial game in April by prepping the figures Iain gifted me - these were British Infantry from the New Zealand Wars (1845-1872).

I had already decided that the force I was going to deploy would be an 'Imagination' one rather than historical and decided to use the same nation as I did for the 18th Century games - Rabbennisten.

Having prepped these I went on and all but completed the first unit for the game, a detachment of the Duchy's Household Guard Regiment using the revised uniform code that came into place at the start of the century (all in my mind).

My next job is to source some bases for these and see if I can get unit two started next week - I need four in total.

Though not clear in the photos below I also assembled some GW kits; A Sagitaur ATV and a Corpse Grinder Cult. The former will be used as terrain in Stargrave and the latter as random encounter 'beasts' in Stargrave or used in Necromunda as they were designed.

Finally this week a game was actually played in the Bunker - the start of a Stargrave campaign!

I didn't take notes so won't be giving a battle report and that has nothing to do with me loosing fairly badly. I also didn't take many photos (a whole one in fact) once the game was in swing - maybe next time. Table maybe a little busy so will calm it down for the next game.

That's all for now folks.

You put my sluggish output to shame! Very nice Rabbennisten chaps. The other stuff is very weird.
